Subject: The Gratitude Sign
This is pretty neat.....(30 second video)... Have you ever seen one of our
military walking past you and wanted to convey to them your thanks, but weren't sure how? Recently, a gentleman from Seattle created a gesture which could be used and has started a movement to get the word out.
Please everybody take just a moment to watch.... The Gratitude Campaign;
....and then forward it to your friends! * THEN START USING THE SIGN. *

We had a marvelous time in Central America last week.
Quite inexpensive by staying with friends George and Diane.
Thanks so much for your hospitality!
Here are 3 dozen pictures:
Diane and Mary at one of our many indoor outdoor meals
George and Diane took us everywhere. Dinners at their friends' homes were great.
The entrance drive to their home.
The outdoor reading room outside our bedroom suite.
Where I swam often, though it was cold for them at 70-75 the entire time.
A classical guitar concert
Here is the City of Antigua, Guatemala from a hill top restaurant.
Diane at the market.
Outdoor Catholic mass at Santo Domingo's with integration of old stone work with new, as seen everywhere in the city.
Here's where they made the jaguar jade we purchased.
Local historian Joy and Jack gave us a tour.
The old convent.
This city of Antigua was founded in 1543, and has been continuously inhabited since. St Herman is celebrated in this church.
Christmas poinsettia.
Our driver Rene took us to many places.
A typical inside courtyard. We ate to the left, and the band above played beautiful Spanish music.
The market features on premises cooking.
This young lady knows how to sell. Even Mary, Mary Bookmark?? was impressed!
This is the volcano Fuego with hot steam puffing out the top.
Its neighboring volcano Aqua at a country club where we brunched.
Fuego from the golf course.
The after school program George and Diane support. Our church donated 2 dozen baseball caps we carried in our luggage.
Shopping for veggies that helper Sophia prepared for us when we ate at home. Yes that is the marketer's baby on her back.
Parakeets and coffee beans.
We drove around in these tut tuts. It costs $1.00 per person to drive to the Mayan Ruins here in Honduras.
Mary and my tut tut easily overtakes the horse carrying firewood.
They built some pretty impressive temples.
Through the mango groves to the Pacific.
Lunch under the thatched roof. I was supposed to catch my lunch fish from the tank, but it was too fast for me, so I had help.
We enjoyed it while we could, before returning to snowy, snowy Connecticut!
But Spring thaw and melt is right around the corner. Here it is at Yosemite.
